OUR GROWERS - OUR FRIENDS
We love growing grapes, our Estate Fruit is some of the best fruit we receive each year, but at 4.5 ha, our vineyard is too small for our ambitions. Growers are the heart of the Barossa, with literally thousands spanning the full length and breadth of the Barossa and Eden Valleys.
All our growers are multi-generational, the Schulz, Fromms, Hoffmanns, Beckers, Angas and the Wilkschs have farmed their respective properties for generations. Once a year, we bring out the best of the most recently bottled wines and share a meal, have some great conversation and lots of laughs. We celebrate the vintages past and look forward to the vintage ahead. It’s one of my favourite nights of the year.
The respect for the land and each other is truly inspirational. We are lucky to have them.
Presidents Room at the Tanuna Club
The Tanunda Club is community owned club in the centre of Tanunda, just off the main street. They have wonderful accommodation (just 7 or 8 rooms), great food, yes a club/pub (but a step up on that) and some wonderful history. The perfect spot for a beer to watch the footy and have a casual dinner. And they are BYO too.
