Back in August, Hayes Family Wines once again received 5 Red Stars in the 2023 James Halliday Wine Companion. By definition, this puts us in the best of the best of Australian Wineries. Great news! It also gives us the opportunity to show our wines to a greater audience through the Best of the Besting tasting.
Best of the Best Wine Tasting Event
On November 10, we will be showcasing our wines at Panama Dining Room & Bar in Fitzroy, Melbourne as part of Halliday Wine Companion’s Best of the Best: 5 Star Wineries event. Come along, chat with Brett and taste our wines at an event celebrating the top-rated producers in Australian wine. We can’t wait to see you there!

What will we be showing?
At this tasting, we will be showing 3 of our highest scoring wines from this year’s Wine Companion: 2019 Redman Coonawarra Shiraz (97 Points), 2021 Fromm Vineyard Grenache (95 Points), 2021 Koonunga Grenache (94 Points) and our 2018 Koonunga Ancestor Shiraz (which is not submitted for review).
