2022 Adelaide Hills Blanc de Noirs

$60.00

($51 Wine Club price)

Our bottle fermented Blanc de Noirs is made from 100% Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir grapes (and hence the name Blanc de Noirs). The Pinot Noir we source for this wine comes from the old Seppelts Partalunga Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. This vineyard produces extraordinary fruit that not only has wonderful flavours for still red pinot noir, but when picked early retains its natural acidity which is a hallmark of great Sparkling wines.

The new release 2022 Blanc de Noirs was disgorged in October 2024. This disgorgement is extraordinarily fresh and just jumps out of the glass. Slightly more weight and body then the fruity 2021 Vintage. A wine that will drink well now, in a year or many more.

2019 ADELAIDE HILLS Blanc de Noirs

2023 James Halliday Wine Companion (Dave Brookes)

94 Points - 100% pinot noir, méthode traditionnelle, disgorged in October 2021. An impressive sparkling wine from the Adelaide Hills. Pale straw in the glass with enthusiastic fine bubbles racing to the surface. Aromas of crisp apple and citrus fruits with some redcurrant notes in the distance. Hints of soft spice, white flowers, brioche, clotted cream, Monte Carlo biscuits and crushed quartz. These characters neatly transpose to the palate, which is vibrant and vivid with excellent tension, drive and stony pizzaz.
